The World Economic Forum has recognised that five of the biggest risks facing humanity are climate related. These risks can affect companies in a variety of ways – from direct risks such as physical production, to indirect ones such as the changing political landscape.
In the UK, it will be mandatory for companies to disclose the quantification of climate risks from 2022.
Climate change is also at the forefront of customers’ minds. By embedding climate change policy into your business strategy now, your business can transition smoothly to adhere to future policies as well as becoming more appealing to your customers.
