At Avieco, I am working within the Government Sector, helping local councils and public organisations with the procurement and deployment of renewable energy systems. This includes helping to decarbonise their current sites by optimising their assets and facilitating the technical installation of new technologies.
Prior to Avieco, I worked with local authorities and district councils, focusing on energy innovation projects and the implementation of renewable energy technologies. Each project was centred around the transition to electrical vehicles and how the energy within the EVs could be used to balance the energy network.
I hold an MEng in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Strathclyde, Glasgow. Towards the end of my degree, I was able to tailor my degree, focusing on energy, the environment and sustainability. I was also fortunate enough to take part in university exchanges, having the opportunity to study abroad in both France and Brazil.
